The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Des O’Leary to the post of General Manager, Biotrin Ltd. 

The appointment is effective from today, March 01st 2009 and he will share his duties with Dr. Cormac Kilty until July 09, when Cormac will leave Biotrin. Des will report directly to the CEO Diasorin S.p.A
Des, who has been with Biotrin since 1996 and its Chief Operations Officer since 2001, has over 18 years experience in the Diagnostics Industry.  He holds an honours degree in Biochemistry, a Masters in International Business from Trinity College Dublin and is a Board member of the Irish Medical Devices Association. 
Des will be responsible for leading Biotrin’s next stage of development as a key strategic subsidiary of the Diasorin Corporation.
